Steps for Creating a FlipVideo Clip and inserting into Windows Movie Maker to create an embellished movie:
1. film using flip video
2. then, hook up flip video to computer (must load all software the first time you hook up)
3. go to my computer icon on desk top and click on flip video choice
4. once inside, click on the uploaded video clip
5. then click on the highlighted movie icon in the tool bar at the bottom of the screen (you have to make convert the clip to a movie)
6. go through the choices, be sure to save the movie as a file you will recognize...you do not need to use the movie choices here...just keep hitting the next key...
7. after it saves the file as a movie, go to shortcuts in the side bar and click on movies...
8. find the movie file you want and click on it to highlight it
9. right click and tell it to export
10. I export to a folder on my h-drive that I created called "flip video"
11. then, open up windows movie maker (under accessories on start program)
12. once in movie maker, go to file tool and then to import collections...
13. find the folder on your desktop where you exported the movie clip (for me it is flipvideo folder)
14. open up the movie clip
15. then, save your project...(this saves the movie clip in the collections part of movie maker)
16. the film from flip may get saved as a series of separate video segments...which is cool because you can leave out parts you don't like
17. fix the movie and then show!
